Bright ruby red in color with an intense bouquet of red fruits. Beautifully soft flavor and medium body, with an easy-drinking character and fruity notes reminiscent of freshly picked sour cherries. But more than meets the eye is brooding underneath, as the wine opens up to reveal gloriously integrated notes of damp earth, leather, and cedary spices. While it drinks incredibly already, the amount of density sitting beneath the surface plus its ability to transform so often in the glass leads me to believe this wine has an extraordinary future ahead of it.
